A JCI Brantford crew consisting of Jeremy Voss, Rushelle Irons, Aaron DeMille, and Kevin Adams worked on the Santa Claus float today in preparation for this year's Parade.
Every year the committee must decide the Theme for the Santa Claus Parade. This theme helps our float entries to design something that is both unique and uniform.
The 2014 Santa Claus Parade Committee has already been formed. Chaired by our newest members, Amanda and Michelle Y., we will be awaiting some of the great developments from this new team as the year progresses.
The committee and the audience were VERY impressed with the quality of the floats that were presented this year. Our judging panel was very hard pressed to decide who were the best in the various categories available. However, in the end, there were a few who truly did stand out.
Thank you to all of the wonderful artists who participated. Our elves had VERY hard time deciding who would win but were able to make their selections:
Toronto Police Pipe Band formed; Thomas Ross, the first Pipe Major. Ross tartan is worn by the band in honour of PM Ross.
